We can never go back again, that much is certain. The past is still too close to us. Exhibition at Forest Park Hotel, organized by CutContemporary Fine Arts Lab

Klitsa Antoniou’s work is a contemplative study on the nostalgia of the past. With her installation, which consists of two charred boxes of unequal size, tied with straps, the artist redefines luggage, a basic component of travel and escape. At the same time, she delves into the fluid, blurred limits of time and human emotions; the limits between memory and oblivion. The question is: at which point does the present become dissociated from the past?
